Feverfew - sunnyball

*Currently Available at the Farmstand!

These cute sprays of bright yellow buttons are so bouncy and fun! They brighten up any bouquet, attract the good guys to the garden and dry beautifully.

Growing Tips:

Plant Information: At Maturity 24”-36” h, 12”w. Spacing 6-9”. Full Sun. Perennial.

Seedling Care & Planting Tips: This plant loves the sunshine! Prepare your spot with a handful of compost and a sprinkle of organic fertilizer, place your plant in the ground and water it in. It likes light, well-drained, moist, fertile soil (but can also handle a wee bit of neglect and will grow in a crack in the cement if it reseeds soooo…).

In the Garden: Tuck these guys into any spot in the garden to add dimension and movement. Feverfew can repel pests, so grow them in the veggie patch too! Plant in groups of 5 for more impact. They can grow to 3’ tall, so keep that in mind when choosing their spot. Will re-seed if left to it.

Cut Flower Tips: Cut when 3/4 of the blooms on the spray are open for a longer vase life. Make the first cut of the center stem deep into the plant, leaving 6 or so branches/leaf sets. This will promote more long stems to shoot on out for more bouquets. They make a great filler flower, but are very cheerful on their own too.
